I booked directly through the hotel, which was quick and straightforward. Shortly after, I received a WhatsApp message asking me to confirm my room and card details or risk cancellation. Thankfully, I called the hotel to check, and they confirmed it was a scam — so definitely be cautious if you receive anything similar. Check‑in itself was smooth, and there was plenty of parking available. I stayed in a superior double room with a Juliette balcony, and I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious, warm, and clean it was. The décor was nicely done for the price point, and the room felt comfortable overall. A couple of small inconveniences stood out: there wasn’t an extra plug socket by the bed for charging my phone, and the TV didn’t offer Netflix or Prime. I brought my Fire Stick, so that solved the issue, but it’s worth noting for other guests. The room heater worked well and kept everything cosy. Room service was a bit of a letdown. I was told the menu on the website was outdated, and there wasn’t a current menu available to view. The food I ordered was below the standard I expected. I also requested breakfast in my room and filled out the card, but even though the hotel kindly accommodated an earlier time, the order arrived incorrect, so I ended up going downstairs anyway. Despite these hiccups, I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would still recommend a visit. One of the highlights was waking up, looking out toward the balcony, and seeing three squirrels, a couple of magpies, and some pigeons all sharing the lawn peacefully. It was a surprisingly lovely and calming moment to start the day.

We stopped over here after valentine day lunch at Marco Pierre White part of the same complex, we had an upgrade to a superior (larger room) well placed on ground floor in a quiet spot, we checked in before lunch and paid the bill which was significantly lower than listed as we had discounts. After lunch (see separate review) we fetched cases and went to our room. Where as arranged My partners Flowers vase and prosecco had been put in the room. Its a good size and clean and tidy. Even the "hospitaliy tray"was put away in a cupboard. After exchange of gifts we went for a short walk.along the Meriden main road, which was made interesting by the wildlife settled along it on the village pond and in trees, and the variety of house including some lovely timber framed ones and regency style. We walked as far as an Inn called the Bull. Built in 1600's and much more modern regency styles, and modern blocks of flats. We had almost used all the little sachets/pots of milk and reception gave us loads more. We met two very friendly young ladies (Lauren who greeted us and took our orders, and Holly who joined her later and helped serve us lunch) told us that there would be a singer on later, at the bar area so we went down to " listen for a while" I've included some images in and around the hotel. I hope this review helps give you a flavour of the place and more importantly the smiling friendly staff we met .

Lovely stay at the manor hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was good. Close walking distance to other pubs, and only 10 mins from NEC

I stay at this hotel for work. There is a large car park at the back. The receptionists have always been friendly and attentive. The rooms are ok, a bit dated but quiet and they don’t have weird things like smoke alarms with bright LEDs right above the bed. The restaurant is some fancy Marco Pierre White place, which other people I work with rave about. The menu you get if you book a dinner bed and breakfast package is very limited. The food was fine and I didn’t feel weird being there on my own. I slept well, the bed was comfy and the room was quiet.

Sadly wouldn’t stay again, rooms extremely tired and dated. No USB or plugs near the bed. Had to bring an extension cable. Yes hotel common areas look lovely but once up the stairs very different. The lady in reception was nice and swapped my room due to no WiFi, sadly new room had windows that slammed so got moved again. New room fine, but no water pressure. Bed comfy and room clean. No facilities other than bar and restaurant, did use the gym in other hotel but very smelly, dirty and untidy - didn’t return.
