Lovely quiet location although this also limited options within walking for food. There were a couple of pubs up the road but highly priced for pub food and both had very loud music on.... Rooms were basic but clean and comfy Staff were helpful when asked. Some noise during night fron other guests as wedding party in

A beautiful hotel we booked a triple room but it was a double with a put-me-up. Not great for 3 adults. No welcome information, telephone not working so when we discovered only two lots of towelling I had to go down to reception to ask and on the second day only two lots left for us. Then on leaving, we found spare towels in the top of the wardrobe which we may have discovered sooner if there was a welcome card/leaflet. The bath was dangerously slippy and a slip mat would have been handy. No extractor fan for bathroom, no remote for air con in that particular room. Breakfast was superb, although they had the hash browns in the middle of all the meats and the tongs were getting mixed up which is not great for veggies. Self service which was kept clean and topped up regularly. It is a quiet area and after being let down by the taxi service the staff on reception did her best to get our transport sorted on the Saturday evening.
