What’s included in the venue hire price?

Exclusive mezzanine hire gives you the entire upper level, seating around 70 - 75 for dinner (c.100 standing), with a private upstairs bar, tailored furniture layouts, and dedicated waitstaff. The area is roped off for your party; access is secured with a minimum spend rather than a hire fee.

Does the venue provide catering, or can I bring my own food and drinks?

Catering is in-house, with bespoke Italian set menus or buffet service on the mezzanine, and a full bar offering wines, beers, and cocktails. External catering isn’t permitted.

Can I decorate or brand the venue for my event?

Flowers, candles, and tasteful banners at the railing work well; branded menus and signage at the stair top are ideal for corporate events. Please avoid confetti and any items that could fall from the balcony; we’ll help ensure safe installation.

Is the venue accessible, and does it have parking or nearby transport links?

The restaurant is accessible and the mezzanine is reached by elevator. There’s no on-site parking, but city-centre car parks and Metrolink/bus stops are nearby around Deansgate and St Peter’s Square.

What is the venue’s pricing structure e.g. minimum spend, dry hire, or package options?

Exclusive use runs on a minimum spend, typically about £2,000 - £3,000 for an evening, depending on day and numbers. Meet the minimum and there’s no extra fee; per-person packages can also be arranged.

We decided to come to Gusto based on a family recommendation and it was sensational! My Grandson had the Duck Leg and it was delicious! I ordered a Carbonara which was beautiful and would like to praise the kitchen for such a high quality experience. Our server Gennaro was very attentive and helpful and made sure we had a great experience. I would thoroughly recommend this to others for a family setting or for couples. Thank you Gusto!!

Amazing food and service here! Very chilled out ambience and had a good catch up with my friend over a meal and some drinks. Nick was attentive and very friendly and nice. Will definitely be coming back!

My family and I had an outstanding night on my mother’s birthday. We were served by Josh, such a friendly and lovely guy. Wonderful service and atmosphere. We even got a birthday dessert which was amazing. We would definitely come back again! Recommended!
