I stayed here for a couple of nights when I was working in the area and booked it without having high hopes, just for convenience as it was last minute. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it! The room I had was massive and comfortable, the staff are all great and very friendly. It has a huge amount of outdoor space for walks in the morning. The restaurant was the stand out for me - usually I end up eating out at hotels but the food was so good I ate in every night. I'll be back next time I'm there

Having just returned from holding our wedding at Stone Manor I have so many people to thank. The whole occasion was amazing and the staff exceptional. Nickie on reception went above and beyond our wildest expectations with her dedication to her role. Her friendly calm nature and infectious smile helped us all feel at ease. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She looked after my wife for the 24 hours before our wedding and treated her like a member of the family. She really is a great asset to the hotel.

Nickie has been an absolute star. Nothing is too much trouble. An absolute pleasure to deal with. Any queries for our wedding she has dealt with. Liaising with the wedding staff to make sure we were happy. Always greets you with a smile and even a big hug on the morning of the wedding itself. She was as excited as us on the day. A smile and a pleasant nature mean everything when you are stressed. On check out she was just as helpful. She is a credit to the Stone Manor. We have stayed many times over the last few months and each time we are greeted by her like family. Such a joy.

We cannot thank the team enough for salvaging our honeymoon break! We had booked another venue for our “mini moon” of a couple of nights away after our wedding. After the most uncomfortable nights sleep and disappointment at the Airbnb lodge we had booked, we were fortunate enough to stumble upon hogarths and booked a last minute room for a one nights stay that day to try and salvage our break. After explaining our situation a little in our booking, on arrival we were completely shocked and so appreciative that the team had upgraded us for free to the luxury suite for the night! It was incredibly generous and really made us feel cared for. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant that evening and breakfast the next day too! I am lactose intolerant and it was easy to get oat milk instead to the room and at the bar for teas and coffees. The toiletries, robes and slippers just makes the small touches that more luxurious for the stay. We asked for extra pillows and this was sorted promptly. The staff at the bar were also welcoming and helpful. We were welcomed with lovely little treats and a card celebrating our wedding which after the terrible stay before was much welcomed. A special mention to Louise and Joanne on reception, thank you so much for all you did alongside the housekeeping team to provide us with an upgrade and also the lovely welcoming chit chat and personable nature you both have. We definitely recommend Hogarths Stone Manor and would happily stay again. Thank you again from Mr & Mrs Smith!
