I had a room in the 'motel' section of this hotel and was very pleased with the room. The hot tap on the bath didn't work but I filled it with the shower so not a problem. Location was really good as it's very close to shops, pubs, restaurants and pubs. Room was nice and warm clean and cosy. Everything I need working away. Check in was quick, check out at 0630 wasn't a problem either. I will definitely stay again if I'm back here for work or leisure.

Absolutely excellent stay. For the incredible value, I have been blown away by the service. I have spent 4 nights, mainly eating here too, and the food is just SUPERB. The trio of meatballs starter and gammon being my winners. The room was kept spotless daily as I was out working, so 10/10 to all types of staff in the hotel. I will be back at the end of summer hopefully, and already look forward to a hearty meal and the lovely staff at the end of a long work day ✨️

I stay in this hotel while working in the area most months. It is not a hotel for a special getaway or a romantic weekend but it is clean, excellent staff and the food is high quality. For a business trip or a weekend away in the area it is an excellent choice. I remember this hotel in its heyday but I would not choose anywhere else when staying in Newcastle. Great value, What more do you need fur the money. I stay in hotels all around the world regularly and this is certainly not a bad place to stay. Don’t score it against a 5star hotel. It isn’t and doesn’t pretend to be.

Quite dated, didn't love how big the gap was under the door, however, I wanted to leave this review to thank Cameron for his amazing service :). The bed was also the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in funnily enough, with the perfect pillow firmness. Rooms could do with fans as it was very warm, and my shower had a drip. For £51 for the night, I definitely can't complain.
