About Venue

Boasting six interconnected industrial spaces spread across 900 square metres just south of the Thames, Ministry of Sound has a total capacity of 1,555 and a 24- hour licence. With an additional 330 square metres outside in the courtyard, the venue can handle pretty much anything – from awards ceremonies to conferences, Christmas parties, Summer parties, product launches to fashion shows. Opened in 1991, the once disused bus garage retains its industrial heritage with exposed brick walls and steel beams, amplified by atmospheric lighting and powerful sound installations. Our specialist team possess the energy and expertise to ensure things run smoothly from start to finish, no matter the shape or scale of the occasion. Ministry Venues is where three decades of industry heritage and euphoric history collide to create experiences your guests will go home raving about.

Ministry of Sound is a connected, multi-room venue designed to move guests seamlessly through one continuous experience.

At its centre is The 103, the space that links everything together. Double-height ceilings, an aerial walkway and a central 12-metre bar create a natural focal point on arrival, with a full-width LED screen offering immediate impact for branding and content. It’s the point where guests arrive, gather and get their bearings before the event unfolds around them. From here, the venue opens into The Box, the main room and primary event space. Purpose-built for exceptional sound, it anchors the experience whether used for plenary sessions, live performances or large-scale moments within the event.

Around these core spaces, the layout breaks into a series of distinct but connected environments that support different moments throughout an event. The Baby Box offers a more contained setting, slightly removed from the main flow, making it well-suited to smaller group sessions, workshops or catering support. Its high ceilings and industrial finish keep it aligned with the wider venue, while its positioning allows it to operate independently when needed.

Upstairs, The Loft provides a more private, self-contained space. With its own bar and sound system, it works well for more focused interactions, whether that’s press moments, smaller presentations or guest experiences that require a bit more separation from the main event.

Overlooking both The Box and The 103, The Lounge acts as a natural breakout. It balances visibility with its own sense of space, complete with booth seating, a dedicated bar and its own facilities, making it equally effective as a VIP lounge, meeting space or relaxed networking area.

The experience begins and ends in The Courtyard. As the main arrival and exit point, it sets the tone from the outset and provides space for guests to gather away from the core rooms. It also lends itself well to catering setups, outdoor elements and additional branding moments that extend the event beyond the interior spaces.

Together, these spaces form a venue that is designed to flex around the shape of an event, while still feeling cohesive from start to finish.

Really enjoyed the event! The staff were super nice, and the visuals throughout were insane. The venue itself was pretty cool, I especially liked the techno stage! Also really appreciated that they offered free tap water. If I had one suggestion, it would be to slightly lower the music volume, as it felt extremely loud at times. Overall a great experience!

Best for a night out. They have different rooms to suit your favourite type of music. I will definitely be back here again
