A Breath of Fresh Air Leonardo Royal London St Paul’s is, in my view, something of a flagship within the group. Its location is superb — a stone’s throw from the historic and magnificent St Paul’s Cathedral, and perfectly positioned for exploring the City. The team positively exude charm. They are courteous, professional, and genuinely attentive — hospitality delivered with ease rather than effort. The team member who checked us in was particularly charming and the perfect ambassador for this ever-growing brand, setting the tone for an excellent stay from the outset. The rooms are impeccably clean, fresh, and extremely comfortable, reflecting careful management and consistent standards. The rooftop cocktail lounge is a particular highlight. It creates a delightful sense of international vibrancy — a convivial atmosphere with splendid views across London, making it a most pleasant setting in which to unwind. We stayed here as part of my bday get away with my husband and son.I booked thru booking.com and left a note that's it's my bday get away. Arrived early and they allowed us for early check in at extra cost which was fine as we wanted to leave our belonging in the room before we went out. Walked in to the room. Room was nice but just that's it. They welcome me on TV screen with the wrong date (1st January)meanwhile it was on the17th February. No welcome note either. We got a room at the building at the back at 2nd floor. Was thinking to go to the spa but there was no bath robe. We appreciate the housekeeping team tho they did a good job in keeping the room clean and tidy. So. We often stayed or went to 5* star hotel or 4* with exceptional services so for me our stay here just standard.

Leonardo Royal Hotel Saint Paul’s Very disappointing stay. The room initially looked organized, but it was clearly not clean. The sink, tap, shower and several surfaces were dirty. At first I thought the marks were due to deterioration, but when I wiped them with toilet paper the stains came off easily, which showed that the room had barely been cleaned beyond making the bed. It honestly felt disgusting to stay there. When I reported it to reception and asked for someone to clean the room, I was asked “where exactly it was dirty.” Someone later came but only cleaned the desk, leaving the rest unchanged. During my first night I also noticed a strange smell from the pillowcases, which made me suspect they hadn’t been changed. I went back to reception and asked for new ones. The replacements had no smell, which confirmed my concern. I also took the stairs once instead of the lift and on every floor there were empty glasses and trash left by guests that nobody had picked up. Because of the general cleanliness issues, I didn’t even feel comfortable using the sauna. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I was there for a training with colleagues, and at least six people mentioned similar cleanliness issues with their rooms or the hotel in general. I would not return and would not recommend this hotel. Not sure how this could be a 4-star hotel.
