We stayed 4 night and had the most pleasant experience. The location is within minutes walk to the Victoria Underground, the Victoria Theater and Apollo theater and great restaurants. The hotel is extremely clean, from our room to the bathroom below the tea room, we were impressed with the cleanliness. The thermostat was easy to use and the air conditioner works great! Our room faced the Royal Mews and we loved it. The staff was excellent in every way. They were all so accommodating and friendly. Every single one of them, we really appreciated the special treatment. Definitely will consider staying at your hotel when we are back in London.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the level of service throughout my visit was truly exceptional. A special thank you to Alicja at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable by arranging the unique Henry VIII room for me. Her kindness and professionalism made a real difference. I was genuinely impressed by both the fantastic location and the outstanding staff. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

Excellent hotel! The staff are courteous and always willing to help. There are plenty of team members available to assist at all times. The breakfasts are fantastic. The room is clean and fully equipped with every amenity you might need. A special mention to the doorman, Robert — respectful, pleasant, and truly customer-focused. Highly recommended!

The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable. It’s a 5-minute walk from Victoria Station (you can get there almost without getting wet, even if it’s raining), close to several top theaters, and right by Buckingham Palace. Hyde Park is also barely a 10-minute walk away. As for the hotel itself, there isn't much more to it. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the Indian restaurant as it was closed for renovations, though it looked very promising. They do have The English Grill, but we felt the dining options in the surrounding area are so good that it’s not worth paying the premium to eat at the hotel, especially with what seemed to be a limited menu. The facilities are quite dated. This is particularly noticeable in the elevators, but also in the rooms (by the way, whose idea was it to place the toilet paper five feet away from the toilet?), the windows, etc. This is not a luxury hotel; it is an acceptable hotel right in the center, and that is what you are paying for. The views aren't particularly good regardless of which way your room faces, so it’s not worth paying extra for a view. The continental breakfast buffet is possibly one of the smallest and most limited I have ever seen. It had barely three bowls of cereal, a few types of milk, and some yogurt and fruit. However (as they explain on the first day), you can order various hot dishes from a menu, which are large and quite well-prepared. We would stay at this hotel again, but not at just any price.

We stayed in a Junior Suite for two nights at the The Rubens at the Palace and had a very enjoyable stay. The location is fantastic, right next to Buckingham Palace. The hotel feels like stepping back to another time and you can really feel the history in the building. The rooms are a little dated in places but that was no hardship for us. When visiting London you spend most of your time out and about anyway, so as long as the room is comfortable and clean it does the job perfectly. What really makes this hotel special is the staff. Pascal on the door could not do enough for guests and was always welcoming. Raj made a point of greeting people and being visible which adds a lovely personal touch. The bar staff were also very friendly and attentive. There may be newer hotels in London, but the people here make the stay. The team at The Rubens at the Palace were an absolute pleasure.
