Q: What’s included in the venue hire price?

Exclusive use of our atmospheric first-floor Victorian bar lounge with comfy sofas and its own staffed bar. Background PA, mic on request, furniture, lighting and house sound are included, the room is yours privately.

Q: Does the venue provide catering, or can I bring my own food and drinks?

All drinks and any food are provided in-house (cash bar, open bar or pre-paid tabs). Options range from bar snacks and boards to canapés/buffets. External F&B isn’t permitted (celebration cakes by arrangement).

Q: Can I decorate or brand the venue for my event?

Bunting, balloons, pop-up banners, table pieces and custom menus work well. Temporary fixings only; no damage to walls/woodwork.

Q: Is the venue accessible, and does it have parking or nearby transport links?

Step-free via lift to the first floor; level inside. We’re on Lavender Hill, which is 5-7 mins from Clapham Junction with buses outside. No on-site parking; limited paid street/nearby car parks.

The Members' Bar is a versatile meeting space at Battersea Arts Centre, well-suited for board meetings, workshops, training days, and away days. Its layout can adapt from formal presentations to more collaborative sessions, and the adjoining New Committee Room can be added as a breakout area for group work or private discussions. With natural light and flexible capacity, it provides a practical yet comfortable setting for professional events.

A truly well-organized milonga, thoughtfully planned in every detail. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the organizers’ passion and care were clearly felt throughout the evening. The music was engaging and well selected, the dance floor was always lively, and the overall vibe was relaxed and enjoyable. I had a great time, danced a lot, and felt completely comfortable the whole night. A genuinely positive experience that I would happily repeat and recommend.

Wonderful experience! The family concert "Peter and the Wolf" was fantastic. Interactive and enjoyable for children and adults. The venue was atmospheric and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Being a fan of the Portrait artist programme on Sky and knowing it was filmed here - we needed to visit the venue as we were in the area. Like Wilton's Music Hall it has that look deliberately looking unrefurbished which adds to its charm. We liked the display of posters from years gone by and the small are with statues and exotic ceiling. There is a bar on ground floor which we closed for a private party. There are toilets on-site which were clean and accessible. We did not visit the Main hall but liked the plaque commemorating the 100th anniversary unveiled by John Major in 1993 who was from this neck of the woods. We will return.
