Murrayfield Hotel, Forrester Suite

I booked our hotel stay as a birthday gift to myself, so I chose a room that was above the standard level. Unfortunately, the booking agent passed the wrong information to the hotel, making it appear as though I had booked the smallest/cheapest room available — which was not the case. Even though the mistake was not the hotel’s fault, the staff did everything they could to improve our stay. They upgraded us to a classic room and offered me complimentary prosecco for my birthday. I was genuinely touched by how much they cared about my experience and how quickly they responded to my frustration. Their kindness really made a difference. I am currently in the process of submitting a complaint to the booking agent, as they were the source of the issue. Based on this experience, I strongly advise against booking with StayForLong.

I stayed at the Murrayfield Hotel during my holiday in Edinburgh and had a very good experience overall. From the moment I arrived, the reception team were very nice, welcoming, and friendly. They made the check-in process smooth and easy, and their warm attitude really made me feel comfortable and at home. The rooms were nice and clean, and everything was well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the room was relaxing. It was clear that cleanliness is taken seriously, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Room service was not the best part of the stay it wasn’t that great but it was okay and manageable. Despite that, everything else about the hotel was good, and I was happy with my overall experience. I would definitely consider staying at Murrayfield Hotel again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Came here last week traveled from airport easy by bus as stopped outside. The hotel was really nice I loved it there the room was lovely and clean and loved that we had a sofa. I would definitely come back. I liked how different the hotel was compared to standard hotels. I also like that we could just watch Disney Netflix by signing in where most hotels block this. Highly recommend this place and the restaurant.
